Angela joined Dyhrberg Drayton Employment Law in 2018 after a period in the Law Reform team at the New Zealand Law Society.

During 10 years in the United Kingdom, Angela consulted in areas of human rights, environmental protection, and social change and has published widely in those areas. She has experience in teaching, research, and cross-disciplinary engagement projects. Angela has a strong background in public and administrative law, incorporating legislative change, governance, and running due process.

Angela has been a member of the Wellington Women Lawyers’ Association since 2018. She has worked on submissions for legislative change and reform within the legal profession, particularly in respect of gender equality, sexual harassment, and pay equity.

Together with Steph, Angela operates the New Zealand Rugby Independent Complaints Management Service, along with other complaints mechanisms for various organisations throughout the country. Angela also assists with employment agreement and policy review.

Angela is a Board Member of the Houghton Valley School Board of Trustees and an active member of her community on the South Coast of Wellington.
