Intermediate Level – Wellington CBD

Dyhrberg Drayton Employment Law—a boutique employment law firm based in Wellington CBD—is  seeking to appoint a lawyer with:

  • 2-4 years PQE
  • employment law experience preferred
  • excellent legal writing, research and advocacy skills
  • high standards of client service
  • ability to work effectively and collegially in an open plan team environment
  • a sense of humour

The successful candidate will be able to manage their own files with supervision, and must have excellent communication skills.  They will have a desire to develop and enhance their skills in the employment law environment by working in a small, highly effective team with a busy workload.

Dyhrberg Drayton Employment Law has a wide range of employer and employee clients, and is on the panel of legal providers for the All of Government legal services contract.  The partners have a wealth of experience in employment law, and are great mentors to their lawyers.  They can offer excellent work opportunities for the right candidate.

Legal Secretary/Administrator

Part-Time

Dyhrberg Drayton Employment Law—a boutique employment law firm based in Wellington CBD—is seeking a part-time secretary/administrator, preferably with previous legal experience.  The person must: 

  • Be able to work as part of a team but with minimum supervision
  • Be competent and accurate at word processing/dictaphone typing
  • Have exceptional spelling and grammar
  • Have excellent communication skills with staff and clients
  • Possess a friendly and professional telephone manner
  • Have excellent presentation and punctuality
  • Have a sense of humour and be a team player

You will be expected to assist the lawyers with filing, data entry, typing, running errands and helping out with reception duties.

The role will be 20-25 hours per week (flexible depending on candidate).  Competitive salary.
